Lorry brings years of experience in research, data, and evidence advisory within the international development sector to Generation Pledge's impact advisory team. Previously, at IDinsight, he empowered international development decision-makers to make more informed decisions using data and evidence. He has designed and implemented randomized controlled trials for various NGOs and interventions, refined cost-effectiveness models for philanthropic organizations, provided monitoring, evaluation, and learning advisory services, and developed processes to assess the value of data collection efforts through a cost-effectiveness lens.
Lorry holds a B.Sc. in Economics and an M.Sc. in Development Economics. He has lived in Kenya, Zambia, and Brazil, which has enriched his understanding and empathy for the complex and diverse nature of strategic philanthropy, blending academic and professional experiences with real-world learnings.
